Both players have recently joined the team from Bayer Leverkusen.
"I'm looking forward to playing for Liverpool and having my good friend Florian Wirtz join us as well," Frimpong said.
"This makes everything more enjoyable for me, and I'm also happy to see some familiar faces from the national team here."
Frimpong is now teammates with Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, and Cody Gakpo, who are all part of the Dutch national team.
He is also happy to be working with countryman Arne Slot, the club's manager.
"When I spoke to Arne Slot, I could tell he was interested in having me join the team," Frimpong said.
"He told me that he thought I would fit in well with the team, and that was a big factor in my decision to join Liverpool."
