Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne will not join Italian club Como when his current contract expires at the end of the season. The Italian team had a successful first season back in Serie A, led by coach Cesc Fabregas. There were rumors that they were interested in signing de Bruyne and pairing him with midfielder Dele Alli. However, Como has not made any official contact with de Bruyne to discuss a potential move. Several other clubs, including Aston Villa and Chelsea, have been linked to de Bruyne, but he has not received any formal offers yet, aside from one from the Chicago Fire in the MLS.
