Recently, Pogba joined AS Monaco after a year that saw him banned from playing football due to a doping case. He also faced the repercussions of being a victim of a blackmail plot.
During a press conference, Pogba expressed his gratitude towards Juventus, saying, "I always loved and always will love Juventus. This club helped me become what I am today."
However, he also acknowledged that there were some issues during his time at the club. Pogba said, "Many things happened, some people have their own way of doing things. There were some things I liked, others that I did not."
He emphasized that he will never disrespect Juventus and that he is happy to have moved on to a new chapter in his career. Pogba also highlighted the support he received from former Juventus president Andrea Agnelli.
Pogba praised Agnelli for being in touch with him during his difficult time, saying, "Agnelli sent me messages and would call me up, this is called support."
He noted that when he did not receive calls from people within the club, he felt that he was not receiving the support he needed. However, Pogba acknowledged that others, such as veteran player Giorgio Chiellini, did show him support.
Looking ahead to his new chapter at Monaco, Pogba concluded, "I said a year ago that I was not dead. Now I am thinking about the future and not the past."
