There have been rumors about Acheampong possibly leaving the team on loan this summer. However, he says thoughts about his future are not on his mind right now.
"I don't think about it much," Acheampong said. "I just focus on each day, one step at a time."
Recently, Acheampong signed a new contract with Chelsea. He mentioned that many players wanted him to stay, and he had positive conversations with the team.
"It's all about staying grounded and focused," Acheampong said. "I don't get too high or too low."
